Poem of the week

Hug

She may be young

but, she does know love

because her mum

showed her how to hug

the day she was born

In her back pocket

Baby Blue

The Girls In The Sky

I want to see what’s behind the moon

What has she been hiding

While I’ve been existing on the east coast

Is a man really making a home out of her

Changing her land for his own life?

And one day I’d love to travel to the sun

I think she has things to share

For she burns with passion

But hasn’t told her secrets to a soul

The stars that speckle the sky are products of their love

They took them in, under one universe to help them grow

But what makes them live day and night apart?

Did the moon kiss the man?

Did the sun burn with anger?

Did they stop loving each other?

The eclipse is never enough for them to make up.
